Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was satisfied with his team's showing as they secured Europa League progression with a 4-1 win over Monaco.
Erik Lamela hit a first-half hat-trick at White Hart Lane on Thursday, with Stephan El Shaarawy pulling one back for the French side and Tom Carroll adding Spurs' fourth in the second half.
"It's job done and we finish first in the group," the Argentine boss said after the game. "I'm very happy and very proud.
"The players gave a very good performance and we showed that we have a very strong squad. We showed a winning mentality this is something we need to keep for the whole season.
"It's fantastic for a player when he scores a hat-trick, always a great moment. From the beginning of the season Erik has showed an improvement in his game, he's more consistent and we're happy for him."
The win means that Spurs finish as Group J winners, and will now turn their attention back to the Premier League as they host Newcastle United at the Lane on Sunday.
