Brazil’s current President Jair Bolsonaro is reported to have the backing of many footballers. Yesterday, in bizarre footage, the hard-talking politician was shown parading around in a Neymar Jr. PSG shirt.
Local reports suggest that the incident happened in the Brazilian city of Guaruja, near Sau Paulo. The outspoken leader- and retired military officer- was staying at a military hotel when he decided to “escape” for some reason. Although one wonders, why the President would feel the need to “escape”; nonetheless, he was perched on his motorcycle, riding around in a Neymar PSG shirt with a huge no.10 sprawled across the middle of the jersey.
The man himself took to Instagram to spread the word of his brief escape, which is said to have lasted for 20 minutes.

In additional footage, the right-wing ideologue is shown answering a query regarding the jersey he was wearing. Confirming to those around him that it was a Paris Saint Germain jersey, the top-man rode off on his motorbike.
"Que camisa é aí?"
"É a do Paris Saint-Germain"

There are questions being raised in Brazil about the close ties between the footballer and the President. According to reports emerging in Brazilian news agencies, the player’s father, The President and the Minister of Economy are rumoured to be discussing serious tax debts. This has drawn much among ordinary Brazilians, quite a few of whom are outraged by Bolsonaro’s draconian diktats.
