Defender Jerome Boateng insists everyone involved at Bayern München hopes to see Pep Guardiola stay at the club beyond the current season.
Guardiola has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all reported to be interested in acquiring the Spaniard's services.
The speculation over his future at the Allianz Arena has seen reports emerge that the Bavarians hierarchy are willing to offer Guardiola a massive new contract to try and persuade him to stay in Germany.
And Boateng admits the squad are on a similar page to the board, revealing that all the players are keen to see the former Barcelona manager put pen to paper on a new deal.
"Definitely," the Germany international told FourFourTwo when asked if Guardiola was still the man to take the club forward.
"I think that's what everyone on our team wants. This we have made clear."
