Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews and senior batsman Dinesh Chandimal have been declared fit for the Asian side’s tour to South Africa later this month.
The two players missed the recent tour to Zimbabwe, which saw Sri Lanka win the two Test matches and a triangular ODI series that also involved West Indies.
Mathews had been struggling with various leg injuries, including a torn calf muscle, but confirmed his fitness at Sri Lanka's annual cricket awards.
The skipper said, as quoted by Cricinfo: "Yes, I have recovered from my injury completely and I am fit to tour South Africa."
Chandimal was ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour with an injury to his thumb but has now recovered sufficiently and has been taking part in domestic cricket.
Sri Lanka will play three Tests, three T20Is and five ODIs against the Proteas, who have just come off a Test series victory in Australia.
