Imad Wasim became the first Pakistani spinner to take five wickets in a T20I as the West Indies slumped to 115 all out in the first T20I in Dubai.
Pakistan easily overhauled the West Indies total, winning by nine wickets with 34 balls to spare as Babar Azam recorded a maiden T20I fifty.
Imad had the West Indies three down by the third over of the match as the spinner bamboozled the top order removing Evin Lewis (1), Andre Fletcher (2), and Marlon Samuels (4) in lightning quick fashion.
Johnson Charles (7) and Nicholas Pooran (5) also failed to break into double figures before Dwayne Bravo tried to rally the lower order.
Bravo made 55 but barring a 66 run stand with Jerome Taylor he couldn't find anyone to build an innings with.
The West Indies eventually found themsleves all out for 115 with Imad Wasim finishing with figures of 5/14 and leaving the visitor's with little to bowl at.
Pakistan made short work of the total, losing only Sharjeel Khan (22) before Babar (55) and Khalid Latif (34) guided Pakistan to a nine wicket victory.
