In the incredible Christchurch mosque shootings, it has been revealed that the test match between the Black Caps and Bangladesh has been cancelled.
The Bangladesh cricket team escaped the shootings in the mosque that claimed the lives of at least nine people.
Various photos and videos have surfaced of the team quickly leaving the mosque after a barrage of gun blasts echoed.

As a result, New Zealand Cricket chief David White has revealed that the match will no longer take place.
A statement said: “A joint decision between NZC and [Bangladesh] has been made to cancel the Hagley Oval Test.”
Members of the Bangladesh team have gone through social media to share their incredible stories, with performance and strategic analyst Shrinivas saying:

The team’s opening batsman Tamim Iqbal revealed the frightening experience they had.

Wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim asked for prayers during this very trying time.

According to news one person is already in custody following the shooting. However, it is believed there could be more offenders.
