UFC debutante Jose Torres found himself in an awkward position but came out on top after failed slam from his opponent.
Torres faced Jarred Brooks in his first bout for the brand at UFC Fight Night Utica on Saturday. Brooks was in a dominant position in the second round, pushing the American against the cage.
The flyweight then picked up Torrres and moved into the middle of the octagon and attempted to slam him, but ended up coming off second best, handing Tores a win on debut.
