Jones joins WSOF

He previously has fought in the 170-pound weight class.

Fodor (5-0-1) confirmed the deal on social media; this after it was initially hinted at by a report by USA Today.

According to the USA Today report, Fodor is expected to make his promotional debut on April 10 in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

"Why (WSOF), because they respect there (sic) fighters and won't ask you to stop being who you are," Fodor wrote on Twitter.

Fodor's older brother, Caros (10-4) has fought in multiple MMA organizations, including the UFC, Strikeforce and ONE Championship.

In Ben Fodor's last fight he scored a submission victory against Jason Novelli in February.
