Floyd Mayweather has repeatedly teased the idea of entering the Octagon and making his MMA debut in a rematch against Conor McGregor.
Unlike last summer’s boxing match between the pair, it appears unlikely that Mayweather will come out of retirement again in such an unforgiving environment.
But if the 50-0 former world champion does decide to try his hand at MMA, then UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg believes she would triumph.

Cyborg is preparing to take on Yana Kunitskaya at UFC 222 this weekend after taking the fight at just three weeks notice. And after going 12 years without defeat, the Brazilian says her dominance would continue in a fight with Mayweather.
“I think to fight Mayweather in boxing, it would be crazy,” Cyborg told MMA Mania.

“But MMA, I would probably take him down. I’m not going to challenge my boxing with his boxing.
“I know, but I’d need to slip my head a lot and have to be fast before I can catch him.”
