McGregor flying fan to fight after song goes viral

Conor McGregor will fly one of his biggest fans to Las Vegas for his fight against Floyd Mayweather after the song writer-singer released a ballad about the Notorious that has gone viral.

Mick Konstantin is a small time song writer-singer from Ireland. He barely has 1500 followers on Twitter but in the last couple of days he’s made it big.

So big in fact that he will be flown to Sin City, put up in a five-star hotel and given prime seats to watch McGregor do battle against Mayweather on the 26th of August… free of charge.

McGregor himself will be covering the cost of Konstantin’s trip.

This came after Konstantin’s song entitled ‘There’s Only One Conor McGregor’ was released on Thursday last week. In just three days, the video that was posted on his FaceBook page has accumulated three million views.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting, McGregor detailed his delight upon hearing the tune.

“It’s one hell of a song,” the double UFC champion said.

“It’s a very catchy song.

“We actually reached out to the guy. We are booking him a flight, him plus one, bring him over to the fight, get him tickets and put him up in a hotel.

“I’ll meet him maybe after the fight! It’s one hell of a song.

“I’m going to bring him in as a thank you for the support.

“What a song, it’s the journey in music form.”
