Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino revealed she has moved on from the tension between herself and former UFC star Ronda Rousey.
While Rousey was bantamweight champion, she played up Justino’s use of steroids and accused her of shying away from a potential fight.
Now, with Justino having finally joined the UFC and Rousey wallowing in the mire after two consecutive and devastating losses, Justino revealed she has moved on. In fact, the 32-year-old even heaped praise on Rousey for putting woman MMA competitors on the map.
“I don’t have anything against Ronda,” the Brazilian told MMA Junkie.
“I think she did a lot of things for MMA. We can talk. I’ve never met her before, but I think she did great things for women’s MMA.
“She said a lot of things about me, but I think she used that time for growing her. She did it for business and not something personal because I never met her. But I don’t have anything against her.”
Justino faces Tonya Evigner for the vacant UFC women’s featherweight title on Saturday at UFC 214.
