Flyweight superstar Demetrious Johnson has finally got a belt for each of his successful title defences.

The UFC flyweight champion made history when he locked down an armbar on Wilson Reis at UFC on FOX 24, forcing a submission and earning his tenth consecutive title defence.

The win equalled Anderson Silva’s record, meaning Mighty Mouse needs just one more to make the record his own and surely write his name into the history books as one of the greatest MMA fighters ever.

Following his dominant victory over Reis, Johnson called out UFC boss Dana White for not issuing him a belt for each of his title defences, like boxing does.

White said immediately that he would get his belts and he finally made good on his promise…

Interestingly enough, the photo bears some resemblance to a post by Floyd Mayweather last year. Was this his inspiration? You be the judge…

It took 19 years but they'll talk about it forever. #tbe #tmt
