UFC announces fights for UFC 210, Kansas City and Nashville

The UFC announced fights for UFC 210, and their cards in Nashville and Kansas City during the UFC 208 preliminaries on Saturday.

Will Brooks and Charles Oliveria will meet April 8 in Buffalo, New York. The lightweight bout will be part of the undercard for UFC 210. The pay-per view is headlined with the light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.

The UFC on Fox 24 card from Kansas City on April 15 will see the ‘Karate hottie’ Michelle Waterson face Rose Namajunas. Both women are ranked in the women?s straw weight division’s top 10. Waterson is coming off of a victory over Paige Vanzant. Namajunas also defeated Vanzant in December 2015, but was defeated by Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 201.

On April 22, Artem Lobov and Cub Swanson will headline the UFC Fight Night 108 card from Nashville. Swanson is on a three-fight winning streak. At UFC 206, Swanson defeated Doo Ho Choi in one of the best fights of the year.


Also announced for UFC on Fox 24 was a flyweight fight between TUF season 24 winner Tim Elliott and Louis Smolka. The Kansas City card will also see Devin Clark and Jake Collier met in a battle of light heavyweight prospects. While Andrew Sanchez and Anthony Smith will fight at middleweight.

The following weekend from Nashville, Al Iaquinta returns to face veteran Diego Sanchez in a lightweight fight. Scott Holtzman and Michael McBride also meet in lightweight action. Matt Schnell and Hector Sandoval battle in the flyweight division.

Top 10 ranked flyweights Dustin Ortiz and Brandon Moreno are scheduled to meet. In middleweight action, Sam Alvey will fight Thales Leites. Women straw weight competitors Jessica Penne and Danielle Taylor round out the announced fights for Nashville.
