Dana White expects Jon Jones to go straight back into the UFC title picture after he returns from a drugs ban.
Jones was stripped of his light heavyweight crown after he failed a drugs test in the build-up to his encounter against long-time rival Daniel Cormier at UFC 200.
White claimed at that stage that he wouldn’t take the risk again of headlining a show with Jones fighting for a title.

But with the 29-year-old due to return from suspension in July, White expects him to compete for the championship in his first fight back – facing the winner of April’s tussle between Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
“Jon Jones is supposed to return around July so the timing is perfect,” White told MMA Fighting.

“I haven’t talked to him. I have not talked to Jon Jones since the whole incident [at UFC 200].
“Depending on where Jon’s head is and where he thinks he is, I would assume he would come right back and try to get his title back.”
