McGregor confirmed for Game of Thrones cameo

Yes folks, you read that correctly…UFC superstar Conor McGregor will feature in the 2017 season of TV fantasy epic Game of Thrones.

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that the first two division champion will play a small role in the much anticipated seventh season of the fantasy television series.

White was speaking to FOX Sports Live when he was asked about the rumours.

"I knew a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show," White confirmed.

"I'm glad he did it. It will be great. The show is huge. It's awesome, and I’m excited for him."

Unfortunately, as to where, when and who Mcgregor will play remains just speculation at this point.

Could the feisty Irishman be part of the Dothraki herds? Perhaps a pirate on one of Euron Greyjoy's ships? Or will he make an appearance in King's Landing as a conniving trader looking to get ahead in Westeros?

We aren't sure, but we sure are excited.
