Rashad Evans has been moved off the fight card of UFC 205 due to an issue with his pre-fight medical examinations.
Evans – a former UFC light heavyweight champion making a comeback at middleweight- was set to fight Tim Kennedy on the preliminary card at the New York event.
According to reports, he was removed from the card due to an as yet undisclosed medical issue which may or may not be a failed drugs test, though Evans has never failed a test before.
The UFC have not yet revealed if they will call up a replacement fighter or scrap the bout altogether.
With Dana White right now, tells me Evans/Kennedy is off due to an issue with Evans's medicals. More info to come.
