The Polish fighter took the title off Carla Esparza at UFC 185 in March and showed she is more than worthy of the title of champion by thoroughly dominating performance.
The third-seeded Penne was in some discomfort early on after taking a short elbow to the nose in the first round that sent her to the canvas. Another elbow in the second round left Penne's nose bloodied and the third-ranked fighter struggled to gain a foothold in the fight, with her attempts at take downs proving unsuccessful.
Jedrzejczyk delivered a flurry of punches in the third which resulted in the referee telling Penne to defend herself. The champion was unrelenting, and with Penne looking to find some refuge along the cage, the official decided enough was enough and called a halt to proceedings.
