Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum – both former UFC heavyweight champions – are set to meet again in a featured bout at UFC 207 on December 30 in Las Vegas.
The fight was officially confirmed on Thursday.

Velasquez will be the man looking for revenge, having lost his heavyweight belt to Werdum via third-round guillotine choke last June at UFC 188.
The American only had himself to blame, however, for not preparing adequately for the altitude difference in Mexico City, where the fight took place.
Brazilian Werdum, meanwhile, spent the majority of his training camp in Mexico, a decision which paid off richly.
Not that the new champion was able to hold on to the title for long, going down to Stipe Miocic in his first defence.
Since then, both Velasquez and Werdum have secured victories over Travis Browne, and will now face each other again, with a potential title shot on the line again Miocic.
The fight joins an already action-packed UFC 207 card, which features the return of Ronda Rousey taking on women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes as its main event.
