With four days to go until UFC 202, Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor gave everyone a possible taste of what’s to come in their pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas.
Up until today everything had been fairly respectful between the pair ahead of the showdown this weekend.
However, the presser – which McGregor turned up late to – almost descended into a brawl between the Irishman’s Straight Blast Gym team and Diaz’s 209 Stockton Skrap Pack team.
Security reports the entry of @nickdiaz209 stirred up the Diaz-McGregor confrontation. Said he motioned to Nate to leave.

McGregor was answering a question from an ESPN reporter, when suddenly Diaz, his brother and training partner stormed out of the David Copperfield Theatre at the MGM Grand, shouting abuse at McGregor.
They hadn’t finished there, as Diaz threw a bottle of water in McGregor’s direction after the fighter had aimed a few choice words at the American over the microphone.
That led to McGregor leaving the desk where he was seated to throw two cans of energy drink towards Diaz.

UFC president Dana White immediately ended the press conference and apologised to fans and media in attendance.
I’ve watched it a few times. Diaz threw the water bottle first and then McGregor threw the cans of Monster Energy. Surreal. Crazy. Madness.
