UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping did not hold back when they became involved in a verbal spat during the UFC 199 pre-fight press conference.
Rockhold and Bisping will face each other in a title fight on Saturday, but both fighters looked to take the mental edge in a series of expletive-filled exchanges.
Rockhold was initially scheduled to face Chris Weidman in a rematch at UFC 199, but Weidman pulled out of the event with a neck injury. Bisping was subsequently called up as Weidman’s replacement and is determined to make the most of his first-ever title fight.
Furthermore, Bisping is also looking to avenge his loss to Rockhold at UFC Fight Night 55 in November 2014.
The champion on the other hand doesn’t seem at all concerned about facing the veteran again as it took him just under six minutes to make Bisping submit when they last met.
While Rockhold and Bisping will both enter the Octagon brimming with confidence, only one of them will walk out with the title belt around his waist.
