UFC 195 will have a headline welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit in Las Vegas on January 2.
The fight was initially meant to happen on November 14 at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia but did not happen as Lawler (26-10) injured his thumb and had to pull out.
This will be Lawler’s second title defence after beating Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 in July. The 33-year-old is riding a four-fight win streak.
In his last five fights Condit (30-8) is just 2-3, but those losses have been against top opponents – Georges St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley.
The UFC has added more fights to the UFC 195 card – a bantamweight clash between Urijah Faber (32-8) and Frankie Saenz (11-2).
Plus a featherweight bout between Max Holloway (14-3) and Jeremy Stephens (24-11).
