The UFC have confirmed that welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will put his title on the line against American Top Team team-mate Tyron Woodley at UFC 201 on July 30.
Lawler won the title following a split decision win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 181 in December 2014 and has since gone on to defend his belt against Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit.
Woodley meanwhile is on a two-fight winning streak and will get his first-ever UFC title shot. The 34-year-old has looked in impressive form in his last two bouts as he needed just a minute to knock out Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night 48 in August 2014, and he then secured a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 183 in January last year, but has not fought since then.
The pair will headline UFC 201 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta. The UFC have not held an event in Atlanta since UFC 145 in April 2012.
