Cristiane Justino revealed that Ronda Rousey was far from her mind following her brilliant performance at UFC 198 on Saturday.
The Brazilian only needed 81 seconds to get the better of Leslie Smith in her UFC debut. There were those that expected her to call out Ronda Rousey after the win, but 'Cyborg' was in a different frame of mind…
"I believe it was my moment…tonight was my moment, it was historic," said the 30-year-old after the fight.
"I never thought I'd be sitting here tonight. I never thought I'd be here after everything I went through and it's a historic moment for me.
"Talking about her [Rousey] is something that people are going to talk about, but I let my fans decide on who my opponent will be and I just have to be ready."
Justino added that it had been a long road from featherweight to arrive at the catchweight for her first UFC appearance.
Despite the result, she has no desire to continue at the level, as she is eager to defend her Invicta featherweight title.
"I've been training for two years to be able to make weight yesterday," revealed the San Diego resident.
"And I felt very well tonight and I believe I can do other superfights, but I'm going to continue my weight class. I've been the champion for some time and I want female MMA to grow, and I don't think it's the right thing for me to abandon my weight class."
