UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm says her focus is totally on defeating Miesha Tate at UFC 196 in Las Vegas this weekend and remains non-committal over a possible rematch with Ronda Rousey.
Holm, who was taking part in an open workout ahead of her fight against Tate on Wednesday, would not be drawn into speculation that she and Rousey would fight in November, a year after her stunning win over the American star in Australia.
“At this point, I’m not looking past 5 March,” Holm said. “That’s as far as my mind will let me go, that’s as far as my heart and my passion will let me go.
“You’re never promised another fight. I want to make sure I make the most of this fight and not look past it,” she added.
