UFC boss Dana White claims the winner of Saturday’s middleweight fight in London between Michael Bisping and Anderson Silva will be next in line for a title shot.
Although there is clearly a lot on the line for both fighters at the five-round main event which headlines UFC Fight Pass in London, it is Bisping who has impressed White the most in the lead-up to the fight.
“Bisping looks like he’s in phenomenal shape,” White told the UFC website in an exclusive interview.
“Bisping’s never lost in England. The O2’s sold out, it’s gonna be f**king rocking. We haven’t been to London in a while and I’m real excited to be here.”
Nevertheless, Silva seems set on regaining the title he held during a 2,457-day unbeaten run and after seeing the Brazilian train during a recent trip to Los Angeles, White admitted that the former champion looked good.
“Anderson’s been out and he’s only fought one time the last two years,” White continued.
“But he’s one of the best to ever step into the Octagon. It’s going to be so fun.
“They’ve always wanted to fight each other. Bisping has wanted this fight forever.
