All the preparations for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 83 have just about been completed, after Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and his ‘namesake’ Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliveira took part in open workouts on Friday.
Cerrone is moving up to welterweight for this fight after his loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17 for the lightweight strap, whilst his Brazilian opponent is on a three-fight winning streak.
The fight between the two ‘Cowboys’ isn’t the only thing took forward to at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
In the co-main event, Derek Brunson puts his three fight-winning streak on the line against BJJ expert Roan Carneiro, who has remained unbeaten for the last five years.
During Friday’s open workout in the “Steel City”, some Pittsburgh Steelers players were on hand to appreciate the fighters showing off their best moves and offered their thoughts on who might win the clash in the octagon.
