Jose Aldo may not have fought in the Octagon for a year, but the reigning UFC featherweight champion hasn't missed a beat.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Aldo unleashed a terrifying volley of vicious kicks in a training session ahead of his title match with Conor McGregor at UFC 194 in December.
"It’s just the beginning. No blah blah blah. We train hard, the way we plan, and our performance speaks more than our mouth," Aldo wrote.
Aldo was initially scheduled to face McGregor at UFC 189 in July but pulled out of the fight due to a rib injury.
But, with the 28-year-old having made a full recovery, he is determined to triumph over the Irishman as there is a history of bad blood between the duo.
McGregor and Aldo have been involved in numerous epic staredowns throughout the year, but the incident that tipped their rivalry past boiling point came during a UFC 189 World Tour press conference in Dublin in March.
