Brown withdraws from Gastelum fight

Matt Brown has pulled out of his bout with Kelvin Gastelum at The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 2 on November 21 due to an ankle injury.

Brown, who suffered the injury while training, has said that the injury isn't serious enough to keep him out of action for a lengthy period of time, but that he won't be fit to fight Gastelum in three weeks time.

The five-round headline bout with Gastelum in Mexico would have been Brown's first fight since he beat Tim Means via submission in the first round at UFC 189 in July.

The UFC are now looking for a replacement to face Gastelum.
