South Korea's Dae Hwan Kim has revealed he plans to knock Bibiano Fernandes out and claim the One FC bantamweight title at the Warrior's Way event in Manila.
Hwan Kim has won both of his two One FC fights since joining the promotion at the end of 2013; taking his winning streak to ten fights. This has left the Muay Thai specialist feeling bullish ahead of his meeting with the Brazilian champion.
Yahoo Maktoob quoted the fighter saying: "Finally, I have a shot at becoming world champion and I am really excited to face a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) legend. My record will show how strong I am. I believe in God and I will remain undefeated. This is a chance to fulfil my childhood dream and become world champion. It is the biggest opportunity in my life to gain honour and I am confident about this."
He added: "This is my second fight in Manila and it holds special meaning to me because Manila is where I achieved victory on my ONE FC debut on 6 December 2013, exactly one year from my title fight. I promise I will score a more exciting victory beyond what you have seen from me previously. You can expect a massive knockout!"
