Mayweather denies comeback talk on China trip

Floyd Mayweather has denied claims that he is ready to come out of retirement again during a trip to China.

After extending his unbeaten boxing record to 50-0 with August’s win over Conor McGregor, Mayweather was adamant that he had fought for the final time.

However, reports in the US earlier this week suggested that Mayweather was contemplating stepping into the ring again after posting several videos showing himself in impressive shape.

Yet during a fan question and answer session in Beijing, Mayweather said: “I’m happily retired. I’m not fighting no more, no matter what the price is.”

Mayweather seems to be enjoying his retirement too after posting pictures on social media of himself on the Great Wall.

The 40-year-old wrote: “Here in Beijing, China at ‘The Great Wall Of China’, considered to be one of the greatest Wonders of The World!

“It’s always been on my list of places to see throughout my travels in life however, timing is everything.”
