Manny Pacquiao could still face Jeff Horn in his next outing, according to the Australian’s camp.
WBO welterweight title holder Pacquiao revealed this week that he is in negotiations with former world champion Amir Khan over a mega-money encounter in the UAE – a fight which could be worth as much as $38million, according to the 38-year-old’s promoter, Bob Arum.
Pacquiao had been expected to take on Australian Olympian Jeff Horn in April after the Philippines senator comfortably beat Jessie Vargas in his return to the ring last November.

And despite Pacquiao’s confirmation that he is in talks for a fight with Khan, Horn’s promoter Dean Lonergan still believes there is a chance that the champion could be heading to Australia for his next encounter.

“In all likelihood he is chasing rainbows with the [$38 million] offer,” said Lonergan.
"We have a very substantial offer for Manny to fight Jeff Horn in Brisbane on April 23. It is real money and it remains on the table.
“We still hope to see him fighting in Brisbane."
