Gennady Golovkin says he is preparing for the toughest fight of his career when he defends his world titles against Kell Brook.
Widely regarded as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world Golovkin (35-0, 32 KOs) will put his IBF, IBO, WBA and WBC middleweight titles on the line against the unbeaten Brit in London on September 10.
Golovkin will go into the bout as hot favourite, but the 34-year-old insists he is not taking anything for granted.
“I believe I will bring an amazing show, like a drama show. This is the biggest test for me because Kell is a true champion. It’s the biggest test for me, absolutely,” Golovkin told Sky Sports.
“I believe this is the biggest fight for us because I see Kell [and] I respect him. I respect his team, he has a very good and very strong team.
“I understand this is not easy, this is true. It is very serious business for us. I am ready 100 per cent for September 10.”
