Floyd Mayweather Jr has picked Andre Berto as his opponent for his final fight before retirement when he will look to match late heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano's 49-0 record – and he's been widely panned for doing so.
Mayweather has long been accused of avoiding real contenders who could end his unbeaten record and instead easing his way through fights against mediocre opponents. Following the announcement that he will fight Berto in September, that point of view has only been enhanced.
