Mayweather says Berto has nothing to lose

As Floyd Mayweather Jr. approaches his last match of his career against Andre Berto, the unbeaten fighter has warned onlookers not underestimate him as anything is possible on the day.

Mayweather, who is 48-0 including 26 KO's, has said that because Berto has nothing to lose is what makes him so dangerous.

On making a name for himself, ‘Money’ feels that Berto certainly has a chance to be remembered in the boxing world but only after their fight as Mayweather has utmost confidence in toppling the hard hitting American.

"He feels like he has nothing to lose," he told boxingscene.com

"And I think that when you have a guy that’s put in a situation with nothing to lose, it makes him work that much harder. He has  chance to be one of the top guys in the sport when I’m through. So is he trying to dethrone Floyd Mayweather?

"Absolutely. Anything is possible. Like they say in football, any given Sunday, I’ll say any given Saturday. Anything can happen. So I’m prepared mentally and physically. I’m ready. I’m sure he's in top shape and he’s ready. But I’m not going to overlook this guy."

Berto will be Mayweather's last fight in his career and the 38-year-old has vowed not to return to the sport as he feels he has achieved every goal he has made himself in the sport.
