There was no shortage of trash talking as Kevin Durant squared off against his former team-mate Russell Westbrook on Wednesday night.
While it was Westbrook who walked away with bragging rights (and 34 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists) as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors 108-91, during the match it was Durant (21 points and five rebounds) who was all smiles as the words flew.
The first exchange between the two happened during the second quarter. After Westbrook forced a turnover, he was shown on the broadcast saying something as Durant walked away and laughed. Reporters later confirmed Westbrook had shouted ‘No’ at the crowd.

Reporters claimed there were more words exchanged later in the game, though the cameras didn’t catch it all.
One thing is clear, though, the Westbrook/Durant rivalry is very real.
