Ball has not played since spraining his ankle Jan. 19.
Lonzo Ball remains sidelined.
The 21-year-old guard will be out for at least one more week, the Lakers announced Thursday. Los Angeles is set to face the Bucks and Suns this weekend before hosting the Clippers on Monday. It will then match up with the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Ball has not played since spraining his ankle Jan. 19 and was originally expected to miss four to six weeks. But, he was later diagnosed with a bone bruise, which delayed his return.
The Lakers medical staff has determined that while Lonzo Ball continues to make progress towards a return to play, he needs more healing/recovery time due to a bone bruise related to the ankle sprain suffered on Jan. 19. He’s set to be reevaluated by team docs in about a week.
