Bullock is a free agent at the end of the season, but his 3-point shooting is attractive to the Lakers for this year.
The Lakers are looking at more than just acquiring Anthony Davis at the trade deadline.
Los Angeles has interest in picking up Reggie Bullock from the Pistons, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times which cites unidentified league sources.
Bullock would be appealing to the Lakers because he is an expiring contract as he is on the last year of a two-year, $5 million deal, but his 3-point shooting also appeals to them.
The 27-year-old is shooting 38.3 percent from beyond the arc while making 2.5 3-pointers a game.
Los Angeles came into Saturday’s matchup with the Warriors with the fourth-worst 3-point shooting percentage in the league (33.7 percent).
The Lakers make 10.2 3-pointers per game which is tied for 20th in the NBA.
