Lakers coach Luke Walton offered his condolences to Beasley ahead of Sunday’s 107-99 loss to the Grizzlies.

“I just wanted to send our love, our thoughts and our prayers to Michael Beasley and his family,” Walton said, via ESPN. “They’re going through a tough time. But we’re thinking of you, we miss you, and we love you.”

Beasley had been away from the team as he took care of Smith during her final weeks. He has missed 13 games this season due to his absence for personal reasons.

It remains uncertain when Beasley will be back full-time.
