NBA Wrap: LeBron James leads Cavaliers to Knicks win

LeBron James registered his 48th career triple-double as he lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 119-104 victory over the New York Knicks.

James finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists, while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 23 points and Kyle Korver 20 as the Cavaliers made it 10 successive wins over the Knicks.

Courtney Lee netted 25 points for New York, as they suffered their sixth loss in seven.

Damian Lillard scored 33 points and made five rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Orlando Magic 112-103.

It was the fourth time in 2017 that Lillard has ended a game with 30 points or more to his name.

The New Orleans Pelicans’ new All-Star duo of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis couldn’t prevent Houston Rockets coasting to a dominant 129-99 win.

Lou Williams ended with 27 points on his Rockets debut after his trade from the LA Lakers.

The Detroit Pistons recovered from a 15-point deficit to secure a 114-108 overtime win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was the catalyst for the comeback as he scored 33 points – including a trio of fourth quarter three-pointers – and tied the game at 100-100 just 18 seconds before the final buzzer.

Elsewhere, the Golden State Warriors earned their 45th win of the season when the defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 123-113. The indomitable Stephen Curry would net 35 points as the Warriors remain at the top of the Western Conference.

Finally, the Sacramento Kings edged the Denver Nuggets 116-100.
