NBA Wrap: Harden’s triple-double flattens Hornets

James Harden was unstoppable in the Houston Rockets’ 121-114 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday as he recorded a triple-double.

Harden dropped 40 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out 10 assists as he single-handedly led his side to victory.

Kemba Walker had 25 points, 10 assists and six rebounds for the Hornets.

Elsewhere, John Wall made a game-winning shot with 5.9 seconds left to lead the Washington Wizards to a 101-99 win over the Chicago Bulls.

There were also wins for the Toronto Raptors, who beat the Boston Celtics 114-106, while the Atlanta Hawks cruised to a 117-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

In a close affair, the Milwaukee Bucks skirted past the San Antonio Spurs 109-107, while the Cleveland Cavaliers were stunned 100-92 by the Utah Jazz.

In the final three games, the Portland Trail Blazers crushed the Los Angeles Lakers 108-87, the Golden State Warriors beat the Miami Heat 107-95 and the Sacramento Kings downed the Detroit Pistons 100-94.
