Randy Foye nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to hand the Brooklyn Nets a 120-118 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
The three-pointer was Foye’s only points of the game, while Bojan Bogdanovic was the Nets’ top-scorer with 26 points.
Nicolas Batum had 24 points for the Hornets.
Meanwhile, there were also wins for the Washington Wizards, who beat the Milwaukee Bucks 107-102, and the Orlando Magic, who downed the Memphis Grizzlies 112-102.
A Lebron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Detroit Pistons 106-90, but the Chicago Bulls bounced back from their loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Christmas Day to beat the Indiana Pacers 90-85.
Elsewhere, Anthony Davis scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the New Orleans Pelicans triumphed over the struggling Dallas Mavericks 111-104.
The Houston Rockets also found themselves on the winning end as they cruised past the Phoenix Suns 131-115, while the Minnesota Timberwolves crushed the Atlanta Hawks 104-90.
In the last three games on the day, the Toronto Raptors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 95-91, the Denver Nuggets took down the Los Angeles Clippers 106-102 and the Sacramento Kings skirted past the Philadelphia 76ers 102-100.
