NBA Wrap: Curry, Durant help Warriors beat Jazz

Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant combined for 47 points as the Golden State Warriors triumphed over the Utah Jazz 106-99 on Thursday.

Curry scored 26 points to go with five rebounds and two assists, while Durant finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Joe Ingles led the Jazz in scoring with 21 points.

It was smooth sailing for the Toronto Raptors as they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-110.

DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Raptors, while Kyle Lowry added 25 points and 11 assists.

Zach LaVine had 29 points for the Timberwolves.

The Washington Wizards secured their eighth win of the season after beating the Denver Nuggets 92-85.

Bradley Beal guided the Wizards to victory with 26 points, three rebounds and five assists.

Nikola Jokic finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in his side’s loss.

Toney Douglas made a pair of free throws with less than a second remaining to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to an 88-86 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Douglas scored 11 points in the game, but it was Marc Gasol who starred for the Grizzlies as he dropped 36 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

CJ McCollum was the Trail Blazers’ top-scorer with 24 points.

The Philadelphia 76ers snapped an eight-game losing streak and won just their fifth game of the season after downing the New Orleans Pelicans 99-88.

Ersan Ilyasova scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Sixers, while Sergio Rodriguez chipped in with 16 points and eight assists.

Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis ended the game with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

In the final game on Thursday, the Chicago Bulls handed the San Antonio Spurs their fifth loss of the season after winning 95-91.

Dwyane Wade guided the Bulls to victory with 20 points, while Jimmy Butler added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 24 points for the Spurs.
