Harlem Globetrotter nails 583-foot shot

The Harlem Globetrotters are no strangers to pulling off incredible feats, but this is impressive even by their standards.

During a visit to the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas, the basketball outfit set a new North American record for the highest shot ever made.

After climbing down to the edge of the tower wearing a harness, Buckets Blakes drilled a 583-foot shot that curved some 20 or 30 feet in the air.

The shot was just 10 feet shy of the world record for the highest shot ever.
