NBA Wrap: Westbrook’s triple-double leads Thunder to victory

Russell Westbrook registered his fifth consecutive triple-double as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the New Orleans Pelicans 101-92 on Sunday.

Westbrook scored 28 points on 10 of 23 shooting, grabbed 17 rebounds and dished out 12 assists. He also recorded one steal.

Anthony Davis had 37 points and 15 rebounds for the Pelicans.

The Orlando Magic secured their second win in a row after downing the Detroit Pistons 98-92.

Serge Ibaka guided the Magic to victory with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Nikola Vucevic added 16 points and eight rebounds.

Marcus Morris scored 21 points for the Pistons.

The New York Knicks continued their winning ways too as they defeated the Sacramento Kings 106-98 for their third successive win.

Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose both scored 20 points for the Knicks, while Brandon Jennings had 19 and Kristaps Porzingis finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

DeMarcus Cousins had a double-double in the Kings’ loss, which consisted of 36 points and 12 rebounds.

In the final game on Sunday, the Indiana Pacers triumphed over the Los Angeles Clippers 111-102.

Thaddeus Young was the Pacers’ top-scorer with 17 points, while Paul George and Rodney Stuckey chipped in with 16 points apiece.

Blake Griffin scored a team-high 24 points for the Clippers to go with 16 rebounds.
