Rajon Rondo was the star of the show on Friday evening as the Chicago Bulls beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-105 in the NBA.
Lebron James, as ever, was supposed to be the man of the moment on Friday evening. And he was. For a small while at least.
James entered the United Center wearing the Chicago Cubs uniform. He did this to settle a bet he lost with Dwayne Wade after the Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians in the MLB World Series earlier this year.
While all eyes were on James at first, that all changed as Ronda turned in a fantastic performance that yielded a triple-double made up of 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Ronda was the catalyst for an impressive Bulls triumph that saw them run out 111-105 victors.

Reflecting on the match, Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg heaped praise on Rondo.
“I thought Rondo was great all night long,” Hoiberg started.
“You could hear him yelling ‘Run with me’ to all the guys all game.”
The loss was the Cavaliers’ third straight, with the defending NBA Champions dropping to 13-5 for the season, while the Bulls improved to 11-7.
