NBA Wrap: Lakers beat Thunder in thrilling showdown

Nick Young sunk a three-pointer with five seconds left to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 111-109 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.

Young finished with 17 points in the game, while Jordan Clarkson provided excellent support with 18 points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook ended the game with 34 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds.

The New York Knicks claimed their seventh win of the season following a 107-103 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Kristaps Porzingis starred in the Knicks’ win as he scored 31 points on 13 of 23 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds.

Damian Lillard had 22 points for the Trail Blazers.

A 21-point night by Tim Frazier saw the New Orleans Pelicans defeat the Atlanta Hawks 112-94.

Frazier scored 21 points and dished out 14 assists, while also grabbing five rebounds and recording three steals.

Kyle Korver and Dennis Schroder dropped 14 points apiece for the Hawks.

It was a close affair at the Pepsi Center, but the Denver Nuggets came out on top as they beat the Chicago Bulls 110-107.

Jamal Murray scored 24 points and pulled down six rebounds for the Nuggets, while Wilson Chandler chipped in with 16 points.

Jimmy Butler was the Bulls’ top-scorer with 35 points.
