WATCH: Ranidel de Ocampo buries game winner as TNT snaps GlobalPort’s streak

Ranidel de Ocampo buried a long jumper with time winding down to bail out TNT Katropa, 122-120, over a gutsy GlobalPort Batang Pier Wednesday in the PBA Governors Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

De Ocampo hit the go-ahead basket off a kickout pass from Jayson Castro in the last 5.7 seconds.

GlobalPort blew the game when Stanley Pringle made an errant pass to Jay Washington with 2.2 ticks left, denying the Batang Pier what could have been a 4th straight win.

Led by the troika of Terrence Romeo, Pringle and import Mike Glover, GlobalPort came back from as many as 24 points down to tie the game, 120-all, in the closing seconds.

Castro fired 37 points spiked by 6 triples and issued 8 assists, the last on the game winner by De Ocampo.

TNT improved to 7-1 while GlobalPort, which drew 38 from Glover, 33 from Romeo and 25 from Pringle, saw its 3-game win streak snapped.
