NBA Wrap: Warriors take 2-0 lead

The Golden State Warriors secured a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semi-final series against the Portland Trail Blazers following a 110-99 win.

Klay Thompson stole the spotlight once again as he scored 27 points for the Warriors, while Draymond Green finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.

Damian Lillard had 25 points for the Trail Blazers.

Over at the Air Canada Centre, the Miami Heat downed the Toronto Raptors 102-96 in overtime to take a 1-0 lead in their series.

Goran Dragic scored 26 points for the Heat, while Dwyane Wade dropped 24 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and recorded three steals.

Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry did sink a half-court shot to send the game into overtime, but Jonas Valanciunas was the team’s best player as he scored 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds.
