NBA wrap: Thunder cruise past Mavericks

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Dallas Mavericks 119-108 to take a 3-1 lead in the first-round playoff series on Saturday in Dallas.

Russell Westbrook was on fire for Oklahoma scoring 25 points, five rebounds and 15 assists. Enes Kanter added 28 and Kevin Durant got 19 points for the Thunder.

For Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 points, two assists and 8 rebounds.

The two face each other again in Game 5 on Monday in Oklahoma City.

The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Miami Heat 96-80 as Jeremy Lin scored 18 points and Kemba Walker nailing 17 points to give the Heat a 2-1 series lead.

For Miami, Luol Deng made five 3-pointers scoring 19 points, Dwyane Wade had 17 and Hassan Whiteside scored 13 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks.

Game 4 will be happening in Charlotte on Monday night.

In Portland, the Trail Blazers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 96-88 to improve to 2-1 behind in the Western Conference first-round series with Damian Lillard scoring 32 points and C J McCollum adding 27 points for Portland.

For the Clippers, Chris Paul scored 28 points, three rebounds and nine assists and has scored 25 or more points in his last four playoff games.

Portland host Game 4 on Monday night.

The Indiana Pacers got past the Toronto Raptors 100-83 with George Hill and Ian Mahinmi both scoring 22 points and Paul George added 19 for the first-round series to be tied 2-2.

For the Raptors, Jonas Valanciunas scored 16 points and six rebounds. Game 5 will take place in Toronto on Tuesday night.
