NBA Wrap: Another milestone for James

LeBron James surpassed Dominique Wilkins for 12th place on the all-time NBA scoring list during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 107-87 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

James scored 24 points and dished out 11 assists in his side’s win, while Kevin Love finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Thaddeus Young had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Nets.

Evan Fournier scored 24 points as the Orlando Magic cruised past the Indiana Pacers 114-94 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Fournier, who made 10 of the 14 shots he attempted, was well supported by Nikola Vucevic as he dropped 24 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Paul George scored 27 points for the Pacers.

Nikola Mirotic and Jimmy Butler combined for 49 points as the Chicago Bulls edged the Houston Rockets 103-100.

Mirotic scored 28 points and pulled down four rebounds, while Butler ended the game with 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

James Harden was the Rockets’ top-scorer with 24 points.

Meanwhile, Luke Babbitt dropped 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 101-95 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Babbitt received some excellent support from Toney Douglas as he scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists.

Darrell Arthur scored a team-high 24 points for the Nuggets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder managed to hold off the Los Angeles Clippers to triumph 119-117 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Kevin Durant scored 31 points on 10 of 22 shooting and pulled down eight rebounds, while Russell Westbrook dropped 26 points, dished out 11 assists and was two rebounds shy of a triple-double.

Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford scored 32 points apiece for the Clippers.

Al-Farouq Aminu dropped 28 points as the Portland Trail Blazers downed the Boston Celtics 116-109.

Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum also had a big impact on the game as he scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out eight assists.

Isaiah Thomas scored 22 points for the Celtics.
